I WILL (Inspiring Women in Lifelong Leadership) Institute
Inspire women. Impact the world.
I WILL is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all genders. Our program is focused on issues related to women and leadership. This program focuses on the female perspective of leadership experiences.
About the Institute
At Virginia Tech, advancing women’s leadership education opportunities are of utmost importance.
I WILL (Inspiring Women in Lifelong Learning) is a leadership institute designed to connect current Virginia Tech undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with alumni and friends of the university through leadership development conversations and opportunities. Members of the institute gather seven times per academic year.
Throughout the experiences, there will be opportunities for inspiring, transformational, and meaningful connections across backgrounds, academic disciplines, and leadership experiences. Anchored in Student Affairs’ Aspirations for Student Learning, Gallup’s CliftonStrengths, and leadership identity, the curriculum highlights a multitude of leadership competencies and theories.
